Easter Themes: Here Come the Chicks

Baby animals positively entrance everyone in the spring season. Little chicks have become known as a harbinger of spring and a symbol of new life at Easter. This rhymed sestet reminds us of the fun of playing outdoors, even as the baby chicks do.

Here Come the Chicks

Peep! Peep! The baby chicks
Pick and peck for corn and kicks.
Easter’s here, so let’s go play
To celebrate this happy day.
Happy Easter. Happy Spring.

Easter Themes: The Abandoned Grave

To pay our debt to death, the Lord borrowed a tomb. Once the debt had been paid, He no longer needed a burial site. He arose, as these four lines in rhyme clearly state.

The Abandoned Grave

The Savior slew all of our strife
With power not yet understood.
He purchased forever our life –
The tomb, it is empty for good.

Happy Easter. He is risen!

Easter Egg Hunt Surprise

Pretty posies peeking out
Tell us spring is all about.
Hide your Easter eggs and run.
Call your friends for outdoor fun.
