He’s not exactly a predator, but he sure needs an
editor.
A poet penned weakly and weighed
The nerves of a wee winsome maid.
He aimed to be bard,
But missed by a yard.
She more than his missives assayed.
He scrambled, impactful to seem,
To draw her as more than a dream.
The lass fairly fled,
In definite dread
Of his crazy consciousness stream.
Let this be a lesson, ye hacks.
Aim always for style and facts.
Mere empty words fall
To shame one and all,
As you less than eloquent wax.
