I might malign a young canine,
For dim design and wimpy whine.
Though kids may yell and deem him swell,
He’s yet unmanaged; we can tell.
In sheer delight, my dear, I’d dance,
And give the pup a second chance,
If he’d be trained, not just restrained,
And all our floorings be unstained.
