Pocketing the Difference
A worker was recently
canned,
Departing without
cash-in-hand --
Pursuing a dream,
Fell into a scheme,
Trespassing the
law-of-the-land.
He heartily orders
embraced
Till finally,
embarrassed, disgraced,
He shouldered the rap
For Boss’ big yap,
Developing worksite
distaste.
Litigiously, he
convalesced.
The gavel announced
And justice
pronounced,
Refilling his empty
war-chest.
