Nickers and Ink Salutes Blog for Peace

(Posted in response to BlogBlast For Peace: A Revolution of Words ~ June 4, 2008)

“Dona Nobis Pacem” is Latin for “Grant Us Peace.”

Today, the Lord Jehovah’s own priestly prayer (which He gave to Moses and Aaron to pray for His people) seems particularly appropriate:

“The Lord bless you
and keep you.
The Lord make His face shine upon you
and be gracious to you.
The Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
(Numbers 6:24-26, NIV)

May this be our prayer on June 4th and always.
