ABC Wednesday (“’F’ is for . . .”)
Heads or Tails (“talk”)
In ‘Other’ Words (“growing little hands”)
Meme Express (“school lunches”)
Pet Peeve Tuesday (“in a few…”)
‘F’ is for . . . Food Fight
Flying food may fill the air,
As little growing hands
Fling fish sticks, fries and other fare,
‘Mid faculty demands.
Forty freshmen hit the floor,
Fearing for their lives.
Fifty upperclassmen roar,
Passing ‘round high-fives.
Furious, the teachers call
For an end to fun –
Finding faulters, one and all,
Fleeing on the run.
Four upcoming Fridays spent,
In detention’s queue –
Finally, the guards relent:
“See you in a few!”

ReplyDeleteThat was a Fantastic poem! You are forgiven for use of See you in a few!" Good job!! Call it poetic license.
ReplyDeleteToo bad you couldn't fit it in with Haiku Friday as well! :-)
