Folding and Holding

Folding and Holding

Loads of Laundry

Loads of laundry
Initiate insight.
Now I know
Each ounce of energy
Needs newness.

Making mindless mounds,
Overtaking unwashed sheets
May seem mundane,
Everlasting and unnoticed.
Nevertheless, each wrinkled wonder,
Transformed to freshness,
Signals a new start.

Know when to fold 'em,
Know when to walk away
And know when to run.”

  1. I love Kenny Rogers! He's the man!

I also love this acrostic, because it speaks volume. Fresh ironed cotton sheets are by far my favorite, and I still ironed mines.

  2. Great acrostic. We can learn from mundane work if we pay attention like a form of meditation.
