Bruised and Bemused

Bruised and Bemused

I’m wearing colors, well diffused,
But not in fashion, modes well mused.
I took the stair
And caught some air.
So now my body looks abused.

Well, some may snicker, mock or gloat.
A few may share the anecdote.
But best be warned,
Before I’m scorned.
My stunts come with a doctor’s note.

  1. I absolutely love this! It made me think of this wonderful amusement by the Dubliners:

Your sense of humor is infectious!
