Untold, yet bold
Uh-oh! An undercurrent
strong
That wanders with a
wordless wrong
Bids her to shout –
To call one out
And cast aspersions
all along.
Unless she aims to
join the horde,
To linger idly and
ignored,
She can’t abide
And horrors hide,
While evils echo,
underscored.
Alas! Her feet
refuse to find
Their passage in
the path unkind.
She holds her
peace,
Rage to release.
Then turns and
leaves the brute behind.
