Tasty or Waste-y? Delights may turn enjoyment to blights.
‘Dem apples
They say the fruit does not fall far.
How do you like ‘dem apples,
dear?
The test is tossed.
The choice is clear,
Although the bet may
be bizarre.
One-sided coins fill
not the jar,
But one pomme spoiled
the lot may smear.
They say the fruit does not fall far.
How do you like ‘dem apples,
dear?
The pungent smell may
reach afar,
Though swirling sea still
spins the sphere.
“It wasn’t me,” sounds insincere
When bitter flavors shade
each star.
They say the fruit does not fall far.
