Intentionally Isolated

Ignoring Interruptions

She wonders if a pair of paws
May interrupt the lah-di-dahs.
She hides her eyes
To agonize
At interruptions and hooplas.

The horde, though schooled, is unaware.
They bellyache and blow hot air.
She holds her peace.
Awaits release.
They carry on without a care.
