Daffodil
Dear delightful sign of spring,
Always, as your petals fling,
Find we favor, hope’s new flash.
Flowers call us from the ash
Of a season, dark and cold.
Daffodil, may you behold –
In our empty tempers, trill.
Look! The promise blooms at will.

I love daffodils and the poem captured them well.

Very nice! Love the photos and the poem. The daffodils are just starting to come up around here in spite of the cold. That's real tenacity!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of daffs sprouting up in abundance 'flinging' their petals *grin*
