K is for Kinetic - Rhymed Acrostics A to Z

Spring fever has struck kids of every age. Maybe it’s leftover cabin fever from the long winter. Either way, kids are kinetic, making parents kooky. Welcome, spring.

Kinetic

Kids around here are kinetic.
I might have to summon a medic.
No downshift, no rest.
Each moment a test
To see when we folks grow frenetic.
In time, they their tanks may deplete;
Count ten, and they’re back on their feet.

  1. Spring? What Spring! Oh, to have the energy again of a child. I have often wondered about what causes this lack of energy as years go by.

  2. Oh I definitely agree. I do think all that built up energy is mostly from the excitement of finally being able to get some fresh air once again after being stuck inside for far too long. However, the snow hasn't quite left us, but the hope is there. :)

    Have fun with a-z.

  3. Isn't that ever so true. Bundles of energy. Love the poem.
