Seeds of sweet surprise: A-Z verses from vintage visages

 Seeds of sweet surprise
A rhyming slice on paradise

Beloved season, here at last,
Brings picnickers outdoor repast.
Al fresco dining, longer light –
‘Neath sun and stars, do we unite.

The earth explodes with bounty fresh.
We stack straw plates to fill our flesh.
Imagine our extreme delight,
Of simple joys to take a bite.

And home improvement moves outdoors,
As we pick up our garden chores.
Our schedules stop. Our signals set
On joys all winter we forget.
