Perhaps you have piles of parcels and trunks of trinkets and have procrastinated about putting them aside. Maybe you understand.

Packrat



Poking through a pile of crates,

Ancient treasures, gifted greats.

Contemplating what to toss,

Keeping diamonds, losing dross.

Recognizing heirloom’s bluff –

After all, enough’s enough.

Tomorrow I can stow this stuff.
