A-Z sketches in verse: Junk Jumbler

On Sweeping and Reaping

With silent smirk and menaced mug,
She whisks the wrongs under the rug.
The carpet buckles from the load
Of dark details and debts still owed.
And those who tread upon that spot
May stumble, tumble, all for naught –
Though hidden ills, distortions deep
May disappear with one clean sweep.
