A-Z sketches in verse: Everything Was Easy

Life used to be easy, and things added up.
Our play, it felt safe. Ever full was our cup.
But, darn it. Adulthood crept in with its weights.
So now we are juggling dozens of plates.
The answers, complex, make no more tidy sums
The moment we realize we’re daddies and mums.
