Quads and bods to beat the odds: A-Z verses from vintage visages

Quads and bods to beat the odds

We’re growing quirky in our quest
To quell the quake and be our best.
No longer quick, our miles we run,
Though we admit, it’s not much fun.

Our steps grow scarce in daily fog.
“Oh, my!” we cry. “We have to jog!”
Could quantity of exercise
Reduce the sags of guts and thighs?

We’re fighting aging nail and tooth.
We won’t let go of fleeting youth.
Becoming frail does draw our rage;
We simply cannot act our age.

So Father Time we pacify.
We chuckle, as we wave goodbye
To naïve nods and childish dreams.
We wrinkle, but burst not our jeans.
